Dubai Beach

There is no shortage of beaches in Dubai. Some of the beaches are private beaches accessible only with a pass or entree fee. But there are numerous beautiful public beaches accessible to anyone around the clock.

During winters, tourists and residents flock to the beaches. Beaches here have ample facilities such that you can even spend a whole day at the beach without getting bored.

You can have the pleasure of water sports and sunbathe at Jumeirah Public Beach next to Burj Al Arab. Kite Beach is part of the beach. Go there for kayak and paddleboard rentals. It is popular with kite boarders and people flying kites, as it is a windy beach. There’s a skate park and many little ice-cream stalls. Try some street food from one of the many food trucks during the day and evening. Little multinational restaurants and cafes are located on Jumeirah Beach Road, which runs along the beach.

If the crowded Jumeirah Beach is not for you, then go to La Mer or The beach at JBR . JBR Beach has full facilities every few hundred yards and the sand is white, soft and spotless. Enjoy the several food outlets. There are lifeguards on duty, who look after your safety. The Hilton Dubai Jumeirah is right on the The Walk , the main small street with many designer stores that runs along the beachfront. There are also multiple places to rent water toys, bikes and scooters.

If you prefer a quiet corner overlooking the sea in the afternoon, go to Al Sufouh beach.

Al Mamzar Beach Park is one of Dubai’s hidden gems that’s well frequented by tourists staying at city hotels and by residents.

The park covers an area of 106 hectares, adjacent to Al Mamzar beach near Deira. Al Mamzar beach consists of five separate beaches, all surrounding the park. The huge area provides lots of facilities to keep families and kids of all ages entertained and satisfied.
